IARS is pleased to invite you to the final event for the RESTORE:RESPECT, Hate Crime project that has taken place over the last 10 month in Bradford.

Restorative Solutions together with IARS, have worked to engage local young people of Bradford to take part in the project. They have been trained in Hate Crime Awareness, Restorative Justice, and Campaigning. They have designed five restorative interventions to work with people, who have committed, or are at risk of committing Race and Religious hate crime.

We will be talking about the project and the findings at the event, and acknowledging the work and commitment of the young people who have been at the heart of the project. You may have been directly involved in the project; by referring young people, attending free Restorative Justice training or helped us promote the work. Whether you have been directly involved or not, it would be great to see you and to support the local young people.

The event will take place at Bradford College during Hate Crime Week on Wednesday 17th October starting at 13:30 and will end at 15:30. The event will be hosted by Helen Mason, Project Lead, Restorative Solutions, and co-hosted by the young people, who took part in the project. Please see attached the agenda for an outline of the event.
