This is an open call to victims and offenders to help us evaluate the first ever pan-London Restorative Justice Service.

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) has commissioned The IARS International Institute to carry out surveys that inform the Restorative Justice Service. This is a user-led approach to the provision of restorative justice across London. The surveys and the service are part of a project that is being delivered by a larger consortium called "Restore: London" (R:L).

Your views as a service-user are important for evaluating this service independently of whether you are aware of restorative justice or not. The Restore: London service aims to give victims and offenders access to high quality restorative justice services at every stage of the criminal justice system. The programme is overseen and evaluated by service-users.

More information about this project can be found here

About the Surveys

As part of Restore: London’s work in delivering a Pan-London Restorative Justice Service, we are conducting research to evaluate how well the service is meeting the needs of all users in accessing restorative justice services in London. As such we are asking victims of crime and offenders to tell us about their experiences of restorative justice and the criminal justice system in general. There are two separate surveys (one for victims of crime and one for offenders). If you have any questions about the surveys, please contact contact@iars.org.uk.

Survey for Victims of Crime

This survey is for anyone who has been a victim of crime in London, whether it was reported or not, and we are interested in the views of people who have participated in restorative justice as well as those who have not.

This survey can be accessed here: http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/Y5B0D/

Survey for Offenders

This survey is for anyone in London over 18 years of age who has committed a criminal offence, and we are interested in the views of people who have participated in restorative justice as well as those who have not.

This survey can be accessed here: http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/TIBGM/
