The deadline to apply for a bursary worth €200 plus £70 (registration) to travel to London is just around the corner.
This year, we are offering this support to anyone not from the UK to attend our Annual Conference ‘European Community Voices Stronger Together: Abused and Stigmatized No More’
It will be held at the unique location of Honorable Society of the Middle Temple on July 12th-13th. We have a limited number of bursaries so they are distributed on a first come first serve basis.
IARS members, workshop presenters, young people, migrants and refugees will be prioritized. If you are accepted for a bursary we will also cover the registration fee (£70) so you get to join us for free!
This year in our, 6th International Annual Conference we will be launching the findings of our Erasmus funded projects Epsilon (Day 1) and Abused no More (Day 2). The Epsilons project focuses on issues that face LGBT migrants and refugees who become marginalised both by the local LGBT community and the local migrant community. And the Abused No More project focuses on matters facing young migrant women and girls who have suffered abuse.
The bursaries make this an opportunity that is too good to miss!
We do hope to see you at the conference.
