Tackling Hate Crime Head On: IARS Represented at Hate Crime Conference

Middlesex University hosted an important event on Tuesday 21st September on the subject of working with hate crime offenders and extremism. Through presentations and interactive workshops the event will explore the challenges to criminal justice professional posed by the significant rise in convicted Hate Crime Offenders and 'radicallised' offenders due to changes in legislation and practice. The conference focused on the latest research, practice and policy relating to these offenders.

IARS' Director Theo Gavrielides and Chair of IARS' Board of Trustees, Elena Noel, facilitated a workshop on the day. The session took an in-depth look at working with perpetrators of hate crime. For more information, please click here
