Romina Lopez is The IARS’s Office and Communications Assistant as well as PA to the Director. She supports all team members to ensure a smooth running of our offices, events and projects.
Romina has a wide range of experience in government as well as the third sector. Before joining IARS she was working in government where she gained experience in the areas of international affairs and communications. She has also worked in NGOs such as Stamp Out Poverty and Progressio which shows her commitment to social change and international development. She also worked for intergovernmental organizations such as EU parliament and the Organisation of American States. Her passion for community engagement has led her to Vice-Chair a residents association in Deptford, where she lives.
Romina holds a BA degree in International Affairs by Buenos Aires University, Argentina, and a MSc degree in NGOs and development from LSE. More recently Romina has undertaken training in marketing and communications as well as copywriting. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
