Jack Bellamy is IARS’ Office Administrator and PA to the Director. In this role Jack supports IARS’ work through the administrative side of the organisation including membership, events support and assistance to the Director.
Before working at IARS Jack gained experience in political constituency office environments, including time spent with his local MP and with the Welsh Assembly's minister for Health and Social Services. This is combined with youth projects in his local area and through an Internship at IARS. Locally Jack was a volunteer at Dynamix CIC, a grass roots skatepark run with community outreach central to their mission. At IARS Jack has worked in particular on the Care2Work Erasmus+ programme, assisting and participating in both local and transnational training for young carers and professionals. Jack also works closely on IARS' role as a Eurodesk partner in the UK, both internally and through his position as a Eurodesk UK ambassador..
Jack has a BA in Government and European Union Studies from Newcastle University, in which time he also undertook an additional year-long study placement through the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme in Mannheim Germany.
Jack takes on an additional role at IARS through its publishing house, IARS Publications, working as the Secretariat for the international peer-reviewed Youth Voice Journal.
