IARS Training & Skills Development Programme

Training for young people

To genuinely develop and deliver youth-led projects (research, policy, campaigning etc), first there needs to be a process of empowerment and skills development. This is particularly true for marginalised young people who are excluded from mainstream education or who simply do not have the same opportunities as others e.g. to go to school or university. IARS tends to work with those who are not in schools or other formal educational institutions (e.g. offenders, ex-offenders, those at risk of offending, young people with disabilities and anyone who feels marginalised and excluded from the mainstream structures).

To find our more about our training programmes click on the module title in the left hand column below. If you would like to make any further inquiries about our training programmes please click on the more information links below or contact Lewis Parle

Training for organisations working with young people

IARS also delivers these modules to external organisations which wish to work more closely with young people helping them to become more capable and effective in influencing internal/ external policy and practice. For more information on our training to organisations read here or contact Dr. Theo Gavrielides
